Delivery information
Where we deliver, what it costs and how long it takes.
Charges
Delivery within Nairobi is KSh 300. Elsewhere in Kenya it is KSh 550 by courier. Delivery is free on any order over KSh 3,500, anywhere in the country.
The free-delivery threshold is calculated on the order subtotal before any discount code is applied.
Timing
Nairobi orders placed before 2pm on a working day are usually delivered the next working day. Orders placed after that, or over a weekend, move to the following working day.
Upcountry orders go by courier and typically take two to three working days. During harvest months, dispatch can take an extra day while jars are being packed.
- Nairobi — next working day for orders before 2pm
- Major towns — two working days by courier
- Elsewhere in Kenya — two to three working days
- Apiary collection at Malili — by arrangement only
How it is packed
Jars travel in moulded inserts inside a rigid outer box. Gift packs ship sealed with a gold band, and the packing slip never shows a price when the order is marked as a gift.
Comb honey is packed upright and marked as such. If it has arrived tilted, stand it upright for a few hours before opening.
Breakages
Send a photograph within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace the jar or refund it, whichever you prefer. We do not ask you to return broken glass.
Collection and bulk
Collection from the apiary at Mwendo wa Musau Integrated Farm, Malili (Konza), Mombasa Road is possible by arrangement. It is a working site with more than 200 live colonies, so please book ahead rather than arriving unannounced.
Standing monthly deliveries for cafés and bakeries can be set up — mention it at checkout or message us on WhatsApp.
